The 2006 and 2007 models will cost more. But not all models will be in your price range.

You may also be able to find a newer 2008 model in this price range. It should be in better condition because it will be newer. But you will only find the more basic models for this price. Don’t expect a lot of bells and whistles.

Should be able to find these locally. Watch your local newspaper. Many local newspapers will have on-line versions of their classified section. Watch your local used car lots.

Many areas will have local shopper magazines with used cars for sale in your local area, within about a 150 mile radius. These publications are usually found in your local gas station or convenience store. You may find your Mustang there.

As you have already learned, avoid buying over the Internet. Only consider cars that you can inspect and test drive before you buy. I would never buy a vehicle sight unseen. It would be all too easy to get stuck with someone elses junk.
